Pat & Ryan Bavin
Bavin
Hot Glass Studio
Bavin Glassworks is situated on the Athalmer Highway entering
Invermere, and was established in 1988 by Hot Glass artist Pat Bavin.
Pat’s training started in 1982 at the famed Pilchuck glass school near
Seattle, Washington. He returned in 1984 and 1994 for further study.
Bavin’s eldest son, Ryan started working with hot glass in 1989 at the age
of 15. Ryan also has attended and worked at Pilchuck. Today, the Bavin’s
prefer to work as a team on unique glass designs and commissions.
Everyone is always welcome to visit Bavin Glassworks and, if desired, be
involved in the ancient creation of a hand blown piece of art to take
home.
