Adventure Valley is pleased to host Shop with a Cop Paintball Tournament sponsored by the Byrnes Mill Police Department and the Spring Hills Presbyterian Church. This street ball tournament will be take place on July 29th, with play beginning at 10am. Proceeds from your registration fees will help to brighten the holidays for less fortunate children in the area who will be treated to a $100 toy shopping experience at Walmart. Each year officers from the department do several fund raisers such as this so that they can fund and accompany area children as the youngsters pick out something from their holiday wish list.
Last year the department was able to provide 107 children with $100 each worth of toys. Later, their families were also served a home cooked Christmas dinner where Santa made a surprise visit. The department hopes to include more children in this special event this year. If you would like help make all this happen, please register now. Registration for this event is online only. Please be aware that a 6% booking fee will be added to your total when you book online.
Please bring an ID to the event and plan to arrive for sign-in starting at 9am. A captain’s meetings will take place at 9:45. Participants need to be 12 years of age or older. Players will be grouped into teams upon arrival and trophies will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams.
The tournament will be played rain or shine. No outside paint is allowed, but Adventure Valley will have discounted paint pricing for this event. Players may bring their own paintball markers, but markers will need to be checked by Adventure Valley staff. No refunds will be given on any registration fees.
