Hot Springs

There is a mystical allure to hot springs. They offer a sense of sanctity which inspires calm - and are therefore quite indicative of what the valley offers to visitors.

Peace - a sense of calm - relaxation.

The valley is sometimes called 'Ma?ana Valley,' by locals, meaning 'slow down, take it easy.' One of the best ways to kick back and blow off the world is to soak in a mineral spring. The valley offers a variety of hot spring experiences - from rustic to full-blown spas.

Radium Hot Springs and Fairmont Hot Springs provide the spa experience. Both facilities offer a large cool pool as well as the traditional hot pools that work such wonders on tired, aching muscles and joints.

Fairmont has the added attraction of the spillway pool, located at the base of the hill where the hot pool is located.

Lussier Hot Springs, located at the entranceway to Whiteswan Provincial Park, southeast of Canal Flats, is a rustic endeavour. Adjacent to Lussier Creek, these hot pools are often crowded nowadays as their renown continues to spread. Be prepared for a wait or crowds.

Ram Creek Hot Springs, located on Ram Creek Forest Service Road, which runs between Sheep Creek/ Skookumchuck and the Top of the World Provincial Park road, is also a rustic experience.

The water of the large main pool is cooler and deeper than Lussier a nd this magical location, located within the Ram Creek Fire burn-site, is also becoming more and more popular, despite the rigorous vehicular adventure getting there (warning: the road to Ram Creek is poorly maintained).
