Extended Activities

In addition to our weekly three hour afternoon and evening activities, Play Radium may offer extended activities which take place outside the regular schedule or for longer periods of time. Plans for this summer include a voyageur canoe ride down the Columbia River, a full-day horseback ride in the heart of the Rockies, and an overnight camping trip. Due to transportation and rental costs, these activities may require a fee to be paid in advance; check out the calendar of events for more information.

Hiking and scrambling opportunities in the Rocky and Purcell ranges abound. Breathtaking vistas of high alpine meadows, glistening glaciers, and emerald lakes nestled among rugged peaks are only footsteps away. If you would like to explore the paradise that awaits, we can take you there. Write or talk to us, and arrange your own day or overnight trip.

Our newest feature, voyageur canoeing, accommodates up to 20 people per canoe trip. We are able to take privately-booked groups down the scenic and historically significant Columbia River on day or overnight trips. If you are interested in a voyageur trip, contact us by e-mail or phone.

Join our weekly golf package for youth. We visit various Par 3 golf courses throughout the golf season. Meet Thursday evenings at the course or contact us.
