Are you ready to "play" hard? Then prepare yourself for a summer of fun-filled adventures! Play Radium offers young adventurers ages 6 to 18 a chance to explore the special nooks of the wildlands around Radium Hot Springs. Follow your energetic leaders into new territory, and participate in creative games to discover the plants, wildlife, geology, and human history of the area.

Grab a weathered walking stick and prepare to enter hidden canyons with gushing waterfalls, cross chilly streams across rocks and logs, and find silent groves of cedars in tucked-away valleys. Hop on a mountain bike and ride through winding, narrow trails to reach lofty viewpoints of the valley or explore the beaver lodges and nesting sites in the lush Columbia River wetlands. Join in on the scavenger hunts, following the hidden clues through the town and forests on foot or on bike, and try to find the tasty treasure. Bring your binoculars to search for sheep and deer on the grassy hillsides, coyotes and bears in the forest glades, or herons and ducks along the river. You may even have a chance to test your horse-back riding skills at the stables, or to steer a canoe through uncharted river channels. Or simply enjoy an afternoon of group sports and co-operative games. There is something new every day!
